Thing is, a lot of people on my facebook replied with saying how lonely they are and how I took the words right out of their mouth.

Bit awkward when I told them it was a facebook rape but I thought it was hilarious.

Nobody has mentioned drugs yet. Certain drugs like salvia or dmt warp your imagination so much that you see and experience things that you couldn't have thought of before.

But once you've experienced these drugs you can reproduce their images and similar ones with your mind. So I'd say that we can push the boundaries of our imagination much further than what they currently are now.

There's the problem with imagining what it's like to be in other dimensions. Many would say that it's impossible to imagine what 2D is really like. However certain drug reports have people mentioning experiencing these kinds of things.

By 'better' do we mean more moral? Better is a very badly defined term.

If we're talking about morals, then the difference between the two is that animals do not have sentience. We have the ability to understand right and wrong and good and bad (even if we do have limited understanding of those terms). Animals don't so calling them immoral can't be done really, since we're enforcing our ideas of morality on them. Also a big difference is that animals do things for survival - they follow instinct and act accordingly.

Since we have sentience then we make calculated decisions and frequently choose the wrong ones in spite of our knowledge of right and wrong. We may have laws but those are generally just to keep society together.

Although, I'm not arguing that a life of an animal is 'worth' more than that of a human. And I'm not arguing the opposite since such a thing seems degrading.

Haha, true but "we" also massacured millions in WW1 and WW2 as well as commiting genocide in Rwanda and countless other atrocities. You could argue that animals are 'better' than us in that way.
