Thanks Rich. A 24 hour blackout sounds like an excellent idea. The main issue is that a lot of people who are voting on it don't really understand the problem. As it's a US bill, the UK is a bit oblivious but it changes the entire net, so we should care.

Not provided is a real pain, and I agree we won't get what we've lost back. I just don't want to see it rise. Marketing week would be a great place for it to get aired if anyone can make it so. Most of the big papers have tech sections online (e.g. the Guardian) so I think they'd care, if it was written from the perspective of how it's killing the net (rather than why SEO's hate it).
