i thought about this when i rejigged my tactic, i managed to sign Aissati for cheap and went to 4231 with 2 ballwinning midfielders. this seems to have worked a treat, with the midfield shield actually working and Aissati running amok up forward.

i generally start as any old random team, i let the game pick it for me as i do with the manager experience. then i set my favourite team as Aston Villa or PSV. The whole aim of the game for me is to get the Villa or PSV job from wherever i start out. once i get the dream job i usually quit. I have done this since FM 09. the worst was when i won the champions league with blackburn and got overlooked for the vacant Villa job. i was seriously gutted.

i really dont know, i play a 451, with an anchor man and one of the CM's set to ball winning midfield, still cannot get good possession. i'll keep fighting till the wife tells me to stop.

my problem is getting the ball back from the opponent. most games are 40 -60 possession to them. i always seem to get passed straight through without the midfield getting any tackles. its annoying. with frieburg in BL up to my third season now. anytime i use the shouts or special instructions i lose so i want to get it right from the start.

you are all wrong. about 70 something years ago, just before tv, there was a problem at the printing press. it is actually a Flounce. this is because the Orange and subsequently Orange Juice were originally invented as a cure for homosexuality. so the difference is thus, an ounce is for regular people and a flounce is for what was once thought of as sick people. cornflakes and corn were invented for the same reasons.

this were my thoughts when playing with the tuning, it is currently in E standard with very light strings, i reckon with some 11-50 gauge it should play super nice in d-standard. the pick-up seems to be angled towards the lower strings, i'm hoping adjusting this is possible. Have you ever looked at getting a standard pickup with a surround to made to slot in to them? i would really like to have the ability to adjust the pick up poles.

hello FreeKittens, yes it is very heavy, not that different from my unchambered les paul, the weight is all in the body though so it is quite noticable. Good bottom end, amazing sustain even from my shitty practice amp. i haven't played it enough yet to give you a good review of the pick up, it is possible to get a converter to use any pick up you like with it. and finally yes, still get good lows from it, perhaps not death metal or numetal lows but good solid bottom end.

alrighty then - this is a 99 dan armstrong reissue ADA2 i believe, this is reddit so I expect to be corrected if wrong.

as far as i know it is exactly the same as all the other Dan Armstrong guitars but in a smoked lucite, there are basses in the same model. i have been wanting one of these for about 10 years but have never had available cash when they came up, so needless to say when i had some spare moneys kicking about recently i jumped at the chance to get one. I had been looking at the Greco and other copies as they were slightly cheaper, i really only wanted this for the look, brands are really not that important to me.

so one saturday night i was chilling on the couch surfing ebay without much luck finding a seller willing to post internationally, to Australia, and found this one in the UK, i was straight up in love with it so i emailed the seller and worked out a deal.

first impressions are that it rules, nice wide flatish neck, really easy to play and really responsive,except for the high E string, slight set adjustments required. I play in rock, hardcore and grind bands currently, i will set this up to play the in rock and hardcore bands, D standard, as i don't know how it would go being tuned to C standard for grind.

i have been b'lasting out Black Flag and Annihilation Time riffs with it since i got it. i have also been doing far more guitar posing in front of the mirror than is necessary since the acquisition.

stupid work getting in the way of my riffing. (excellent IT guys for letting me keep reddit on my work PC...)

i feel ya, when CM4 came about i was so hopelessly addicted i swore off forever. I did win everything ever with a couple of teams though.... wooo!!! i didn't play at all for a about 5 years then a mate gave me the first of the FM games and, well it began again. these days i try to only play for an hour tops unless it is A: raining B: i am sick C: the wife is away. I have noticed even with this framework that i am not A:reading books B: watching good shows C: paying attention to anything else.

i find myself in deep thought over my tactical approach with what ever team i am playing with and pondering why no matter what approach i take i can never get anywhere with Schalke...

conclusion - once i get back to work next week, i have been on extended sick leave, i will remove all traces of the game from my computers and home. probably until FM13 comes out and then i disappear for a couple of months again....
