Yeah I saw that, but I was wanting to have the actual data and not graphs and such of the data already prepared. Not sure if they would be willing to hand that over though.

I've seen her site, but haven't considered contacting her to get more of the raw data. Maybe once I have a clearer idea of what I want to do with the data, I'll contact her and if i'm lucky she'll help me out.

Sounds like you put a lot of work into it. Is there anyway you can make that available to us redditors. It isn't the data I was looking for, but there is no doubt that it could be helpful.

Yeah, USGrappling does release their top three submissions for competitions, but sadly not anything further. I also thought about going through videos and painstakingly collect data, but as you said, that's a lot of work, and also, I don't have enough BJJ knowledge to identify every sweep/submission/pass.

If Lloyd Irvin already put in the work, that would be nice if he released that info, but that is probably just wishful thinking.

I also don't dig all the bling that a lot Gis seem to come with. I see that the Tatami nova is a basic Gi though, so that might be interesting. Do you know if the quality of Tatami Gis vary? Most clothes seem to fit me too long in the arms. If this Tatami Nova seems of solid quality, I might just buy it instead of waiting on Black Eagle to restock their A1,A2,A3 Gis.

Thanks for the reply. After reading through your website and getting some responses, I've decided that I will go with a Black Eagle Gi. It seems to be perfect for me in every way. Simple, cheap, good quality, and for a thin build. Thanks for your help

I'm from Munich. I am looking at just buying one from the UK since it seems hard to find any german sites selling well known brands. The sites you sent me for example sell adidas, but that's not a Gi that I am interested in after seeing this website

Thanks for the links. I took a look at your blog earlier but didn't notice the Gi comparisons. After reading through it looks like the Black Eagle Gi is exactly what im interested in. You mentioned that your favorite Gi is from Padilla & Sons. Does the Black Eagle Basico compare? Have you used Black eagle frequently or only shortly for your reviews?

Actually from longer ago. I posted it originally a day ago. It is the dog of my friend, who posted it on his facebook. Dogs name is Carson.
