I lived there for 4 years, mainly for how cheap it was compared to non-student accommodations and for how much I hated packing. For how cheap it is, and how close to campus it is, I was able to tolerate the parties and the noise. Yes, there will be noise, but the rampant hooliganism is heavily exaggerated. In my opinion, it isn't as bad as its reputation makes it out to be. I've never encountered anything on par with the myths people have spread about it. I will, however, say this: the people that work there are baby bureaucrats in the making. If you come across any situation that requires their judgement, prepare to not have it go in your favor.

If you can afford to live elsewhere, do it. If finances are tight, it's not that much of a sacrifice to live here and make friends outside of the complex.

It makes me think of gags from other shows that, upon rewatching previous episodes, draws your attention to innocuous details that didn't have any real significance initially. It's just another level of detail by the writers that makes rewatching worthwhile.

Example: Buster having a hand-chair in his room in Arrested Development. When we first see the chair, it was funny because Buster would have a hand-chair; when it resurfaces, it's funnier in light of Buster's hook hand thingy.

He founded McGill's Neurological Institute, why isn't he featured more prominently in textbooks? It might just be a trick of the mind, but it seems like a lot of major contributions to neuroscience came from researchers who were in one way or another associated with McGill.
