Eh, honestly no one here knows. We all know that pop is a good coach, and I accept that but I have no idea why. Sure, he's coaching a team that isn't the most talented (it's pretty close) but is still the best team, but I don't know a thing about how he actually coaches, and I feel like most people here don't either. No reason to discredit what might be mostly the players' doing.
