Here in downtown San Diego, I see people pull shit like this all the time just to get money from tourists. If that isn't the case they all are mostly crazy or so fucking drunk you wouldn't want to have anything to do with them anyway for your own safety. I have average skills when public speaking. The first few meetings I went to were EXTREMELY awkward, as some of the people were absolutely terrified to speak. The socialization factor before and after the meeting was almost as uncomfortable. Not to mention our meeting was in a nursing home... at night. Ugh.

I used this in LA and there is a huge user base. However, in San Diego it frequently gets directions completely wrong and it has less of a user base. I sprung for Tom Tom and haven't been happier.
