Yes, I know many homeless people that sell their kidneys in exchange for expensive bicycles. We shouldn't judge people based on whether or not they stole the bike they are currently riding.

The car rolled or was driven forward, and the man did appear to be resisting the officers.

Why did they pull him over?

I know it's trendy to hate cops, but have the common decency to show context.

He also did not have to fire as many rounds in to the man as he did.

There's a few galleries on Fisherman's Wharf. Mostly paintings of waterfalls and canyons and such.

Faced with fierce opposition from newly organized residents and business owners, S.F. transportation officials are tapping the brakes on a plan to install thousands of new curbside meters on streets where drivers now park for free. by secaa23in sanfrancisco

I don't live in a lettered zone. I can't buy a parking pass. Other than not being able to buy a parking pass, I have no problem with buying one.

We don't... we would happily pay for a monthly parking pass -- IF THE CITY OFFERED ONE.

But they don't. That would be downright logical.

Which streets (and areas) should I stay away from when looking for a place in the city? by gaygineerin sanfrancisco

[–]arrImAPirate456 2 points3 points ago

Be wary of the Tenderloin and east Goldengate park.

Do not travel in Hunter's Point/Bayview unless you are in a vehicle.

The rest of the city isn't safe, but it's less dangerous. Criminals have legs -- they can walk around from place to place. They won't leave you alone simply because you're in a nice area.

Buy some pepper spray and always keep it handy. More importantly, be street smart. I don't think that San Francisco is very dangerous -- I think that a lot of people here put themselves in risky situations. Yes, criminals want your iPhone. Yes, they will punch you in the face to get it.

Go to meetup.com, or head to downtown/chinatown/marina and walk around.

A fitness club membership is also a great way to meet new people.

Angry Birds is nothing like Crush the Castle. They both involve projectiles and physics, but the feel and themes are radically different.

In essence, they copy other people's games instead of thinking up their own ideas.

Kind of like a movie studio that does nothing but copy movies from other movie studios (but changing the plot enough to not be sued).
