humans cannot predict the future. even if you feel like you might have done something, once the action or non action has been made, even your decision to go against your initial though is a cause and effect. just because we are aware of the decision making process going on in our brains doesn't mean we have control over it.

We also have a very distorted view of what health care should cost. Existing in the Free Market introduces a new profit margin at every step of the way. Shouldn't the goal of a health care system be to save the most lives, not to be the most profitable?
