I don't think it is Ukrainian Catholic. The sign out front just says Byzantine Catholic and it says the same on their website. But thank you for the input, it is very helpful!

I'm Latin Rite, but there's a Byzantine Catholic church right down the street from the church I go to every Sunday and I've been wanting to check out a mass sometime. I'm assuming as Catholics we all can attend each others' masses, but I've never been to an Eastern rite mass before and was wondering if anyone could tell me what to expect that is different?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but is the term "race" a much more broad, encompassing term than "ethnicity?" For example, if you look in Europe we have a continent of native "white" people by race who have different ethnic backgrounds (i.e. white people with German ethnicity, white British people with Celtic ethnicity, white Russian people with Slavic ethnicity, and so on).

I searched just departing from Bari Centrale. Maybe I should have done all stations in Bari? Anyways, that train ride doesn't seem bad at all. What exactly were the search terms you entered so I can look for myself? I speak Italian so the language barrier isn't an issue at the train station either. I suppose if I have to I'll just ask at the Bari station when I arrive there from Pescara. I'm going to Villa San Giovanni because that station is closer to where my cousins live. I took the train from Rome to Villa San Giovanni 2 years ago and stayed with my cousins and I'm going back to visit them. After my stay in Calabria, I will be going over to Messina to catch a train to Palermo. I've never traveled in Sicily before (only via car to Taormina with my cousins) so do you have any recommendations on getting to Palermo from Messina too?

Big soccer fan here (insert shameless /r/soccer plug) and I went to an FC Buffalo game with my dad back when the World Cup was going on in 2010. It was lots of fun and I really enjoyed myself! I even bought a FC Buffalo scarf which I proudly display in my bedroom. Needless to say I'm excited for the season and I hope they do well. I'm disappointed that I won't be able to see much (if any) games this season as I'm moving permanently to Pittsburgh for work so hopefully I can catch some Riverhounds games there. Also, love the Rust Belt Derby this year!

Anyways, as always...let's go Buffalo!!

Well there's the superbowl riot, the G-20 riots, snowmagaddeon, and the bomb threats...but I have one story:

It's not super crazy, but this one always sticks out i.in my mind. Freshman year, a kid in my dorm building the floor below me got expelled for having tasers and other weaponry/paraphernalia. It was discoverdd when one night he got into an argument or something with one of his floormates and decided to tase the kid. Mid-tasing the tasee proceeded to fight his forward and punch the taser square in the face. Pretty badass. The cops came and it turns out the kid was a security guard at some local mall (or something, I can't remember). He had knives, tasers, protective vests, knee/shoulder pads, etc. The kid was always a strange one. I remember seeing him around on occasion. His photo was also posted in every dorm entrance security booth so as to prevent him from coming back.

tl;dr - weird kid in my building tases another kid. While getting tased, the victim proceeds to move forward and punch the crazy kid in the face.
