TROPHY CASE

The designers having experienced multiple previous editions, why's Dexterity STILL an uberstat? by Clue_Batin rpg

Oh wow. That is such a cool idea.

Would it be too radical to introduce that as a house rules? Because I'm kind of thinking about it.

So, does anybody know how to play?

I've played a couple of games, but never really got the hang of it.

Recording Studios in Brisbane Update by billyman_90in brisbane

[–]Zenkraft 1 point2 points ago

Wow, that's a pretty extreme view. I've been rehearsing there since September, have recorded an ep, and are currently recording a single, and have had no issues at all. In fact, they have both helped my band beyond anything we would expect from people who own a rehearsal studio.

More than half of Australians support reduced legal penalties for use of drugs like cannabis and ecstasy, an analysis of a government survey shows. by andrewinmelbournein australia

[–]Zenkraft 0 points1 point ago

I break it down like this.

I'm pro legalisation of all speed and ecstasy (and everything else) based on the fact that I am an adult, and I should be able to control what I do with my body, as long as it doesn't harm anybody.

I'm sure there are plenty of good arguments that link 'hard' drugs, mostly meth, to people flipping out and getting violent. So if these studies are solid enough, I don't think they should be legal.

But in the case of alcohol, where it appears to make people way more douchy than they are, I think we have to look at some things. Because not everybody who gets drunk wants to fight somebody. Is there a situation that makes them douchy? Is it a dosage? Is it a type? From there, we need to educate people better. Basically, don't drink so fucking much if you're going to be a cunt.

I am 100% in favour of legalising (with tax, regulation, and usage guidance) weed, psychedelics (as long as somebody guides you through your first couple of trips), speed, and ecstasy. I'm not 100% on meth, heroin, and coke, mainly because I don't know very much about them.

"Hey Zenkraft, why didn't you use any references in your essay? What gives?" "You have access to a database, you know how to use it. Do your own research. Stop relying on someone else to do it for you."

Nah man, it doesn't work like that. If you're presenting an argument, you have to back it up.

Yeah, we're doing our single. Nathan suggested trying some cello, and well.. I'm not a man who will say no to some cello.

Haven't heard it yet, but I'm pretty excited.

So what does r/truegaming think about SMNC? by botrysin truegaming

[–]Zenkraft 0 points1 point ago

I've only played a couple of games, so my opinion isn't properly formed. Some games I've had a blast. They have been back and forth, some really intense battles, and great teamwork. Other games I have been completely crushed by the other team so much that I didn't do anything than respawn and die.

There are a lot of aspects of the game I like; the sports thing is pretty fun, and I'm sure there is a lot more depth to it once I look at it more.

I'm going to hold of my judgements until I have a few more games, but currently I like it as long as I can get a good game. Otherwise it is very, very painful.

Last time I checked, the male/female split is well within 10%. Maybe like, 55%/45% but possibly smaller.

I agree with what you're saying, but I don't think people go that deep nearly as much as they should. I'm all for pointing out attention seekers, but I have seen way too many "Oh, you're a cute girl who plays games? You must be pretending to get attention." Regardless of how 'legitimate' they are. Plus, it almost seems that the threshold I have to talk about games because I'm a dude is way higher than a girls. Like, I can post a bunch of gaming related facebook statuses, showing my excitement, and nothing happens, but if a girl does, they are fake, and attention seeking.

In Australia, a new host came on the video game show, a cute girl, replacing one of the guys. Now, I could understand some hostility because she is replacing a long term host, but the amount of "She is only here because she is hot" and "What? She is a girl? What does she know?" shit that came up was disgusting.
