We're dealing with darts that are not necessarily front-weighted. The rubber on the end of Streamlines will only add enough weight to maintain stability for stock gun power. Higher powers require more concentrated weight at the front to maintain stability, hence the use of BB's or Lead weights.

Rifling the dart is significantly different from rifling a barrel. Rifling the barrel only adds friction to the dart, slowing it down. Rifling the (stock) dart does not add friction, but it should increase accuracy and perhaps an small range advantage.

I get what you're trying to do. There won't be an easy way to get it done or buy them anywhere.

My only thoughts on rifling would involve the light and careful touch of a foam-cutting wire, or the tip of a hot glue gun.

From what I can tell, that article only deals with imparting a spin on the dart using a rifled barrel, not making the darts themselves rifled.

The OP wants to cut a shallow groove in a spiral along the bodies of darts so that they spin themselves through the air. This would actually help with firing stock Streamlines with modded guns that launch with a lot more force. If you were to rifle a Streamline, it might stabilize in the air rather than spin out of control.

The designs above have a chance of failing on chunk load. Which means you'd have to reset it. The 5 clock pulser always works.

edit: At least I think those ones do. I've never personally used those versions.
