If you are using a bowl then listen up. You first get your trees. Once you acquired the trees, you need to break up the tree into smaller bits. You can do this with your fingers, or what they call a "grinder." Just google image search "grinded weed" and you will get an idea of what size it needs to be. Throw away the stems. Throw away the seeds too if there is any in there. Once you have little bits of broken up trees, you are ready to make your first 'bowl pack.' Just simply put the trees in the dugout at the end of the pipe. You dont want to pack it too tight because then it will be hard to get air through the whole pipe. easy does it. Get your lighter. hold the bowl so that your thumb is covering the 'carb' just search "pipe carb" in google image seach and you should find a picture of a red pipe with an arrow pointing to the carb. All it is, is a little hole to provide clear out the smoke as the last process of the hit. So with your thumb on the carb, put the piece up to your mouth, flick the light and put the flame near the edge of the dugout, or directly on top of trees. Inhale! Because you are sucking in, the flame should lean towards the hole underneath the trees. when you are about to end your hit, take your thumb off the carb so that all the smoke in the pipe will clear out! repeat!
