I used to have terrible study skills because I've never needed them. Until this semester. My professor for calc III is the worst math teacher I've had. All he has taught me is that I need to read the book for myself instead of listening to him.

So my study skills have came out of necessity. As will yours. If you don't understand something, work your way through it until you do, or find yourself a teacher that works for you and find out why. My best teacher talked to herself all the time and now I do it to. Vocalizing my thought process can really help.

I agree completely. If you understand something then even if you forget a little bit about it you can always go back and work your way through it.

Sometimes it seems like a lot of the homework is learning to format your answer which I find annoying and easy to make little mistakes.

I haven't done much of my homework at all until I got to calc 2 and we had to do this online stuff. It wasn't worth as many points so it really didn't matter but after not doing as well as usual on one of the tests I did more and it really has been a convenience. But my calc 3 professor is a bit different and it's worth more and it makes it more stressful.

Yes it is MML and it had been letting me use decimals for most of the assignment but you're right I probably missed it. It just freaks me out because stuff like this could happen on a quiz and as a high school student taking calc 3 I don't feel like messing something up for such a silly reason. I'm sure I'd be less worried if I liked my professor more...
