I enjoy this map, but the grenades get annoying because they are on both sides of the map... that's the only problem i have with it.

I would say that you would be able to understand everything just by watching the 5 minute recap video in the menu under campaign.

But you will defiantly get more enjoyment out of the game if you play the first 2 first. It helps get a better understanding of the characters and you get to learn all their personalities. And it will also give you a better payoff when you play Gears 3.

No, i do not believe they are over powered at all. They use to be useless and the only way you could get a kill with them was with a precise direct hit, but now you can actually use them and get some kills.

From what I saw from this trailer/teaser for this game, I do not like what I see. But, whenever we actually see some gameplay, I am sure I will change my mind instantly because Epic makes great games with a unique gameplay experience.
