One of our teachers once told us a story about these (I study in a molecular biology university). Apparently, when the first American soldiers went to Afghanistan (or Iraq, I don't really remember) and set up camp somewhere, encountered a large number of these during the night. They were so afraid they started shooting at them. Funniest thing is, they don't attack humans.
