You need to switch to Ad Block plus and/or update your subscriptions. I see NO ads anywhere unless I tell it I want to for certain sites.

Like what? The only one that comes to mind is Hulu, but even then you just sit through the same 30-60 second period that everyone else does, but yours doesn't have ads- just a black screen telling you to turn off ad block.

You can still do that with Ad Block- you just get the option to Opt-In. I have Ad Block turned off for reddit and any site that I frequent that doesn't contain porn.

I just went to one for the first time on Sunday and they had 2 birthdays and someone who graduated high school. I told my girlfriend it would be fun to come back once a month and tell our waiter of our increasingly minor life achievements to test the limit.

Once it's obvious that the cashier is about to go into a sales pitch for overpriced, store warranty I find the earliest opportunity to interrupt them politely and tell them the manufacturer warranty is all I need.

They are just doing their job and I know they are forced to give their spiel. I try to not waste their time or mine by having them recite the whole thing for me.

Radio Shack did this to me last week. I had a decent sized pile of stuff sitting on the counter and the cashier wanted my phone number so I made one up. She then asked for a name and I told her she didn't need it. She pressed further and I protested once again. She made it pretty clear she couldn't sell to me without more info so I said, "I trust you can figure out where this stuff goes." And I left.

I have it installed at work because I'm forced to use XP. I don't like it nearly as much as the win7 search function though. I do not think it is faster at all than the win 7 search. Plus you can open properties or containing folder from the start menu as well so I'm not really sold on using it over the win7 start search.
