Try to make your way to downtown Fullerton. There's a farmers market on Thursdays and a good amount of awesome restaurants to try out. Kentro, Rialto Cafe, Stubrik's, Matador Cantina.. the list goes on. There's also a pretty wild bar scene (which I honestly try to avoid) on the weekend nights if that's what you're into. And there's some neat boutique shops with a lot of one off clothes and stuff like BTNC and Roadkill Ranch. Definitely worth checking out.

As a tattoo artist I hear this a lot. But the only thing that pops in my head is one my old bosses tattooed beard stubble on a guy with a sparse beard. eventually covering his face with a fake five o'clock shadow.

To put it into perspective, this gentleman brought his own lightbulbs into the bathroom at the shop to make sure it looked good under those specific lighting conditions. ...ya I still have trouble wrapping my head around it.
