Exactly... 3 whole steps just for a rage comic. This is some highbrow comedy right here.

This took quite a lot of detective work to figure out. Worth it in the end.

Anyone else take longer than the usual 4 years to graduate college? by themelodyhauntsin AskReddit

Agree to some extent. College is definitely easy enough to get by without learning much, but it's a good resource if you actually put in the work. Only problem with this is how the thing that used to differentiate the hard workers from those who do the bare minimum, that degree, is now given to all who are willing to pay.

Remember Reddit: Futurama is coming back in June with new episodes. But if we want it to stay on the air, we really need to watch it through official channels and not just wait for torrents/DVDs. by Uncoolioin self

If they get the final say to count you in, isn't that sort of biasing the results?

When I was younger, I was trying to cut some french bread that was pretty hard. I held it in my left hand and took the knife and sliced downwards towards my hand, I didn't want to have to wipe off the crumbs. Of course, big ole' gash when the knife finally made it through the tough bread. The next day, a friend asked what had happened, and said, "Didn't you ever learn to cut bread??"

It's always those little obvious things that you think don't need to be taught that little kids will always mess up horrifically. Moral of the story, don't assume kids have much common sense.

Yeah... I always overpull things and wind up punching myself, most often in the face. The worst was when I was trying to sleep in a hotel where they tuck... tightly. I pulled and pulled and when the blanket eventually came free my fist flew to my face. The dangers of the tight tuck...

haha you're right. My teacher, having learned both Latin, Greek and every other language would always just interchange Greek and Latin names for everyone and would get angry at us when we messed up. I still remember the day he yelled at us in Spanish for 10 minutes until our blank stares helped him realize we had no fucking clue what he was saying.

Seriously... WTF is with numlock!

The Num Lock key exists because earlier 84-key IBM PC keyboards did not have arrows separate from the numeric keypad. Num Lock would be used to choose between the two functions. On some laptop computers, Num Lock keys are used to convert part of the main keyboard to act as a (slightly skewed) numeric keypad rather than letters.

Seems outdated and unnecessary nowadays. I hate having that ridiculous light on.

I used to be amazed by all sorts of those tricks, but with television and the internet, a lot of it seems so commonplace. (for instance bed of nails, fire blowing/twirling, most magic) Getting older and smarter(I hope) also helps kill the awe and amazement. Do you feel that people are becoming harder to amaze in general? Are the audiences for sideshows getting smaller?
