Note the ChainStar in the last photo as well. One for the road and one for the back yard.

So the return path has no current? It's always 0 on the return line? Wow you figured out how to make a circuit with only one wire. You're going to be a fucking millionaire!

Try this, take your volt meter around your house and measure the voltage between neutral and ground. Make sure you have some things plugged into the same circuit that draw some decent current.

Edit: Yes a 3 wire system is the only way to make this lamp safe.

Neutral does not equal ground and should never be used this way.

My 2001 Focus dies when I brake... wtf... by bad_bassin cars

[–]Teknishun 0 points1 point ago

Nope, neutral is neutral and it only happens when you put the shift lever into that position. Applying the brake stops the car and the transmission remains in gear and continues sending power down the drive line, but because the torque converter is in between the engine and the trans the engine does not stall.

Checking in to support the community. My son has seizures, 8 months old. Short story. by Teknishunin Epilepsy

Thanks, he seems to be getting better with it... slowly. So do you feel like things could have been different if it had been diagnosed early? Why wasn't it diagnosed early? The pediatrician has praised us for acting so quickly and she is hopeful since we did it so early. She also said many cases go untreated, which surprised me. I'm still contemplating all the reasons why that could be true.

How many miles on the odometer? Sometimes I've seen this behavior if the RPM drops to low after letting off of the throttle. If it's not a vacuum leak like kr239 suggested, Perhaps start with a full tune up and clean the idle air bypass valve.

Automatic Transmissions don't go "go into neutral", the engine doesn't stall when you stop because the torque converter provides a viscous coupling. At low engine speeds this viscous coupling isn't strong enough to move the car, especially when the brakes are applied.

Thanks. I'm a pretty tech savy kinda guy, but I have to admit, i don't know what to do with webcal://

Edit: I found a place to "import from URL" in Google Calendar but then I get this error: "Could not fetch the url because robots.txt prevents us from crawling the url."

Edit2: Here's a weird one for you. I got it to work in Google but the dates were all in 2011. Had a friend with a mac import it, export it to ICS and send me the file. Imported the file and all was good. Weird.

Thanks again!
