I have friends that are former Marines. Two. Both are liberals and the most down to earth people you'll ever meet. It all depends on the person before they go in and how they were raised. Were they raised with bigotry, narrow mindedness, and fear? Well there's a chance the military could just add violence an already terrible disposition.

By no means should you let this get you down in any way at all. You're fresh out of college with my guess is little experience other than passing your exams. Brokerage houses churn and burn their agents. They leave soldiers behind on the battlefield if necessary. They don't care anything at all about anything, except the bottom line. They spend no time developing their agents. They don't invest in their people whatsoever. If you're interested in staying in the business, get with a different company. An established company with a good training program. One that invests in its agents. Edward Jones, State Farm, are great just to name a couple. The turnover rate is low. People go there and stay there for a long time.

Crushing debt is not the cause for Greece's failure. They don't have a Central Bank. United States debt is 98.4% of GDP, but the United Kingdom is at 428.8% and Ireland at 1,305%. If the "crushing debt" was the cause then many of these other OECD nations with debt 5-10 higher than ours would have collapsed. The debt "crisis" is a rouse used by conservatives to scare people in supporting the dismantling of the government regulatory bodies that keep corporations in check. Either you're a troll like your name suggests or you should take up another profession. My guess is the first option. You should stop polluting this subreddit with political propaganda.
