You could try e-mailing him. I have spoken to him through this medium before and we was very helpful, as well as prompt.

Another option could be to track down some tuba players that are attending Domaine Forget in Quebec, Canada. He will be instructing them this summer (Although I doubt this would be useful seeing as you probably would like to finish the paper for this term).

One for sure fact that I know is that he sometimes changes horns (same model and everything, but new instrument due to his being damaged during travel or whatnot) but this never affects his performances (obviously). He also does not place a huge emphasis on mouthpieces, contrary to many tubists out there (Baer, Bobo, etc...)
