Is there a point after quitting nicotine where the chemical addiction is back to that of a life-time non-smoker? by lancehawksin askscience

As the old NA saying goes "Once an addict, always an addict"
So how come some people are able to break the addiction with very few problems?
Personally, I smoked and drank heavily for 15 years and quit both within a year. It was hard for the first few weeks, but I haven't touched alcohol or cigarettes in over 16 months and have no desire to do so.
all it takes is a username and password
create account
is it really that easy? only one way to find out...
already have an account and just want to login?
