I used to have this same problem. You have to manually input the ip address, dns settings, etc...into your ps3. Just look the info up on your computer and the only number you need to change is the last number of your ip address. Keep all other data the same.

I've actually been through this (as a student). My professor handled it like this:

1) Somber announcement at beginning of class. 2) Everyone went around the room and shared a thought or story about the deceased (which actually moved the room to laughter most of the time) 3) Professor reminded us about grief services 4) Everyone left 10 minutes early.

Next day, class as usual.

Very succinct and to the point, and allowed everyone to grieve in their own way.
