From what I understand, if they have enough money to make rent at the end of this month, the lease will be up and they will then be looking into moving to a larger space that will allow them to also sell food and drink.

If you're happily married for years, such an upheaval might be justifiable, but these two are just plain dating. If I were dating someone for two months and they asked me to quit my job because of a single coworker, I'd look at them like they angrily and seriously ordered me to gnaw off my pinkies on chatroulette - especially considering how absolutely and horrifically fucked the job market is for low-mid level positions.

You're probably thinking of Hilltop and friendly Fridley. Columbia Heights is nice as hell so long as you're at least a block from hilltop.

It's more that the part of NE between 27th and 37th forms an oddly crime-free bubble in the middle of the area. I live by lowry, and it's comparable to "downtown" columbia heights in its shady drunkard quota.

I live close by in Northeast - Columbia Heights is probably one of only two or three suburbs in the whole state that I actually and genuinely like. There's great food all along central from around 53rd in fridley down to 23rd in Northeast (I'm now thinking about Taco Riendo and twice as hungry), the Rainbow near hilltop is my favorite place for groceries ever, and just about everything you might need on a daily basis is within easy reach.

If you're close to 35W, that's a no-brainer - otherwise, take Central down to 18th, 18th to Johnson, and get on 35W there.

People doing shit like this are a big part of the reason my hours are getting cut - I'd probably do the same in your shoes with regards to events I go to, but with how bad the team's been doing, sales (especially tickets) have been abysmal which has translated to the concessions, retail, and cleaning staff getting their hours slashed in half. That markup translates directly to the wages of the thousand-odd regular guys running the place, not to some $50 mil contract for a guy nobody's heard of next season.

It's my favorite section to be in for night games, though - the sun sets behind the third baseline around the time the game starts, and you get the best of the evening breeze.

I work at target field, but i've only been to a game once. The skyline tickets are great in the evening - pretty comfy seats, a decent view of the game (unlike most nosebleeds in other areas), and of course a gorgeous view of downtown. I'm not sure about the bleachers, but while the view of the game might be better, they are much more chaotic with beer guys and people constantly getting up and coming back to their seats.
