Thanks Brah.

TIL that right after 9/11, a German destroyer saluted an American destroyer with a "manning the rails ceremony" and the display of a banner "We Stand By You". by auntie_norain todayilearned

You obviously have no idea how a persons mind works. It's not just nice to play the PR game with someone, it's necessary to stable relationships with other people.

You're a fairly awful person aren't you? You can be as rational as you'd like and still have tact.

A rapist who goes to jail and serves his time is then free to go.

Holy shit. are you kidding me? Because you would have to be fucking retarded to think that being labeled a rapist doesn't ruin your life.

WTF is this? by saleenmanin WTF

[–]Sevsquad 0 points1 point ago

yes because a drunk moron firing a gun at a speck 12,000 feet in the air is the best way to spread your message.

do you have proof that this happens a lot? or just a few publicized cases about it?

Basically if they don't hold him til trial he'll just leave the country. So he has to be held in jail until trial.

But the evidence against him is weak enough that they are considering dropping charges right now

TL/DR we might get megaupload back.

That's not because of the copyright infringement, it's because he is an extreme flight risk.

Was that golf ball worth it? by fuzzyferretin WTF

[–]Sevsquad 0 points1 point ago

I'm going to go ahead an say this is a ridiculous argument. He was very clearly not where he should have been, a fucking golf course is no place for an alligator and I'm pretty sure it didn't own the course so I'm going to say he wasn't "trespassing" in the gators territory.

You can be sued for copyright infringement, but you cannot be thrown in prison. Not unless you refuse to pay up if you lose.

TIL the highest score possible on the ASVAB is a 99 percent, because while a testee may score better than 99% of other test-takers, (s)he may not score better than their-self. by GalacticWhalein todayilearned

[–]Sevsquad 0 points1 point ago

Yeah every single person I know of that took the ASVAB got in the high 90's if not 99. Most of these people were about average intelligence. I'm seriously wondering who they get to take these tests that bring the averages down that far. Or if they just hand out 90's to make you feel good about yourself.

The killing of two security guards and execution of two drug addicts (description below video) by MrOgrishTvin Gore

[–]Sevsquad 2 points3 points ago

No, I understand how bullets work and how ridiculous it is to assume he hit (and killed) them both while barely aiming from a moving vehicle through a piece of cover. The only way you could assume he hit them with any sort of accuracy is if you had been playing GTA to much.

Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold. by TheyCallMeTomSawyerin Gore

[–]Sevsquad 0 points1 point ago

A friend tricked me into thinking that was a documentary. I thought the footage was real, but once they said that they had killed 14 people I knew it was just a movie. Still, fucking ridiculously good movie.

There is no way in hell they killed that second guard, there was about 3 feet of stone between the gun and him at the end.

If that water was from Iraq spiders would be swimming around in it, seriously, spiders are to Iraq what drop bears are to Australia.

You obviously don't understand human nature if you think racism isn't inherent, everyone is racist on some level because everyone fears things that are different on some basic level, and only a society hell bent on dissociating the race of a person with the thought that they are different will ever truly rid themselves of racism.

Fine in the 70's and 80's the cartels were also much more powerful. Don't be an asshole when you obviously have no Idea what you are talking about.

The Mafia were a hell of a lot more powerful in the 20's than they are now.

The reason that they would never try anything like that here isn't because of the court of public opinion, it's because the FBI and DEA are really fucking good at what they do when it comes to murder.

HIMYM has one of the only good laugh tracks I've ever experienced, it's quiet and unobtrusive, barely there when you watch the show.

What is the one thing you want to see become reality before you die? by Battle4Seattlein AskReddit

[–]Sevsquad 1 point2 points ago

That is true but I NEVER want anyone, even someone with power of attorney to be able to make that decision for me. For me to support the laws they would have to be super strict about that.
