The lightning was what we had initially wanted below the text, but couldn't find a way to get it to sync up with the design style of the rest of the project.

Clouds are generally flat on the bottom too.

I think that's probably the root of why I can't be happy with the clouds. I'll try putting a bottom on them when I go back and make them a little less symmetrical.

Yeah, the main comment I got from friends was that it was "Mickey Mousey". I think I'm going to have to sacrifice some of the simplicity I was trying for, and make a more complex cloud. The big bonus of that though, is that it should give me room for my text.

Honestly, I'd send them something like Fluxx or another Looney Labs game. They're pretty accessible, and generally fit the same mindset.

I'm one of those with "useful" information. My reasoning is that, although I do love board games, I haven't bought/played very many since discovering there are brands beyond Parker Brothers. I think there are quite a few people who signed up for this who have limited knowledge and just didn't know how to put together a profile intelligently.
