I don't see how you got the sense that I was butthurt in any way though... I was simply pointing out that maybe he is trying to fit in with people that don't have the same interests/morals/goals as him, and he is blaming everyone for a few's problems.

Judgement is a hell of a burden, and there is a difference between recognizing outcomes and then being judgmental to a fault. The guy said that he is alone because of it (at least the guy he was siding with), and if you are cutting that many people out of your life, it is clearly his issue with judgement and most likely self-confidence issues.

I don't know how I put him down, people really do need to mind their own business and let people live without fear of offending by making their own mistakes and further learning. If you disagree strongly, cut them out of your life, but don't be passive aggressive.

Furthermore, this seems to hit a nerve with you, so let me know what is so offensive so I can address it.

The same thing that happened to the occupy movement seems to be happening with these protests. Black bloc and anarchists really fuck everything up for the rest of the movement and make it hard to tell if this is a legitimate cause or not. I am studying in France and I have some Quebecois friends who have organized protests here. I also know some Quebecois folk who think this is absurd. I really have no idea where I stand on this issue.

Edit: That is fine if you are an anarchist, I defend your right to believe whatever you want. All I am saying is that by definition: "Tactics of a black bloc can include offensive measures such as street fighting, vandalism of corporate property, rioting, and demonstrating without a permit" is not what appeals to most mainstream OWS and Quebecois protesters. As much as you think that you are right, doesn't exactly mean everyone else thinks you are right, and if you are naive enough to be confused as to why people are against this... well shit, I dunno what to tell you.

I call BS. I have chewed tobacco and swallowing the slightest amount will burn your throat like crazy and make you nearly puke or puke depending on the amount. Furthermore, if you ever get some tobacco on your tongue while smoking, it is simply repulsive. Not to mention, it is incredibly deadly and would cause hallucinations at the least. I am willing to wager a bet this never happened.
