Reddit isn't really a community anymore. I mean I guess it is in a generic sense, but not the kind of community people initially think. Because of its immense growth in the past couple of years, it's sort of just become the hub of the internet. There's no 'community' feel to it anymore. It's expanded so far that it reaches all corners of the internet. As a result, the masses do not have any common sense; the masses usually being 14 - 17 year old adolescent boys who do not have enough drama in their life, and need the internet to incite the normality of natural human response to said drama.

It's a shame. I've been here for many years, I've had many different accounts, and it's really saddening to see it let go like this. It's kind of like seeing your family fight, except your family is now millions of people and you as a single human being with a good conscience cannot do a thing about it. The fight gets larger and larger until everyone is fighting with everyone, but the family is so large now that you don't even notice the fights anymore. It's sort of become the norm. Like tiny dots on the surface of a balloon, the love and compassion of Reddit has gone surely apart. As this trend is extrapolated forward in time, we will eventually be trapped in a private universe of sorts, ready to shuffle off and die alone.

I think I'm done here. There's no suffering in empty space. Time to move on.
