It also happens with regular casting. I smart-cast everything but the E on Viktor. The bug where it stays in one spot predates the current invisible/fizzle bug.

Let's discuss Athene's Unholy Grail by MCI_rotameisein leagueoflegends

I always run into problems with mana on Heimer, but AA sucks ass on him as you never get to even 500, let alone 1000. I think that MR is severely underrated on mid and with the advent of magic dmg junglers like Naut and Alistar, it even helps you survive ganks a bit better. Can't wait to try out the grail!

Does any haircut fit me at all or I'm forever "short-med-short" ? by MFAHuskyo1in malefashionadvice

[–]RebBrown 0 points1 point ago

Get some heavy duty styling creme/wax (not sure what the English name for it is). The one you're looking for is often tagged as 'out of bed' look, because you'll need it with your hair. How do I know? Because it looks like you got the same hair as I do - lots and lots of fine hair that drops down like a brick.

Try out some of the cheaper brands (the brand of the store you're shopping at are often cheaper for example) to get an idea of what you'll need and what you like. You'll find that you want your hair a bit shorter than in the first few pictures, especially weeded out a bit by a proper hairdresses, and then you can do tons with the right styling product. The last pic 'works', but you can do way way way better.

Just my two cents, because I think you can do LOADS with what you have. You just need to do it.

edit - one look you can sport is getting it pretty short, but still with some volume and styling the front to the side (either right or left, but stick with it as you'll need to get a haircut for it and with a good hairdresser, you can simply wash your hair and have it fall into shape, meaning you don't need to put much crap into it for the first two-three weeks.) More daring would be to flip it all back, but you'd probably need loads of gel to get it like that, which seems a bit much for someone with no experience with styling his hair.

Just bought these Creative Recreation shoes; do you like them, and what should I wear them with? by blairbitsin malefashionadvice

[–]RebBrown 0 points1 point ago

If you're going for a cute school-boy'ish look, sure. White shorts with a blue shirt of sorts that match with the shoes is a no-brainer, but maybe you got something more daring that mixes well with it.

Love the shirt, love the pants, but not as an outfit. Don't like the shoes, but that's me - I know many of the more dedicated posters here dig 'em. Some fashionable dark brown boots .. and I hope that link works and .. or this .. are more my cup of tea and go great with many kinds of pants: suit, jeans, linen and other denim stuff and so on. Plus they look manly. Had troubles finding decent pics as googling 'male boots' brings up horrifying pictures.

My new Locke brogues - do the contrasting socks look good? by zebulonthegreatin malefashionadvice

[–]RebBrown 2 points3 points ago

Ugh was my first thought. My hatred for those red pants (that you see hipster kids wearing everywhere) aside, your choice of socks take a big dump over those awesome shoes. Proper jeans or suit-pants with a t-shirt or sweater or anything that shares some color with the shoes would do it justice.

Putting green and red with it just screams 'I'm an individual' .. for all the wrong reasons. But more power to you if you dig it, I got a friend who dresses up in colored pants and crazy socks all the time and I've given up on rehabilitating him ;)

How Did Nations Go About Declaring Wars? by Koalagenetaliain AskHistorians

[–]RebBrown 0 points1 point ago

While I cannot answer your specific question detail, I can sketch you a rough idea of the circumstances of the time. Sending messages back and forth between Britain and India would take many months. But often immediate action was necessary so a man on the spot would make a decision. These decisions could go against the wishes of the people in power back home or lead to situations that no one could've predicted. A historian dubbed this phenomenon 'man-on-the-spot-ism' and gave a bunch of examples of it - the main one being how England got control over India.

India itself wasn't a coherent state at the time. It consisted of many warring factions that took various organisational forms - religious sects, communities resembling states, city-states and so on. Thanks to this the English could actually get in power, for they were pretty much offered it by various factions within the borders of what we now consider India.

I'm sure a more knowledgable person can correct me on many mistakes I made, but it should give you a rough idea at the very least.

Your question is too vague (or too broad). Giving us a time-frame and area, like the 16th century of Western-Europe for example, would help.

[–]RebBrown 3 points4 points ago

Which in turn will hurt the reputation of Europe amongst the EU citizens for a long time to come .. which goes against actual cultural integration on the lower levels. Typical political thinking ;)

Yes, exactly - political reasons. And now we're down the shitter because the people who are supposed to think it through, didn't.

[–]RebBrown 5 points6 points ago

Integration should be the result of circumstances. You can't force integration and create the circumstances, for the populace would never accept it. It's the same with the way the introduction of the Euro and the recent EU 'constitution' were handled - poorly. You need to show the people that the circumstances are there and that it is a logical result of that. How to do that? That ain't my job, but if you got the best of the best working for the EU and you're paying them a royal salary, they better be able to do that -_-

The European Union needs to become more integrated with a common finance policy and a central government, says German finance minister. by arnieeuin europe

[–]RebBrown 10 points11 points ago

Yes, I know. You cannot have a common coin without a common fiscal policy, which begs the question: why didn't they sort that out when they decided to adopt the Euro? The whole thing reeks of incompetence and they're trying to bury all of that under even more of it.

Which makes this sting even more, because the people in charge (such as this minister of finance) aren't incompetent idiots. What went wrong and why is it still going wrong?!

The 10 best goals in European football during the 2011-12 season by EepyDeein soccer

[–]RebBrown 0 points1 point ago

I know these lists are very much based on personal preference, but why add the Aissati one when it's nothing but a failed cross into the box? Sure, with the worst poker-face ever did he state that it was indeed an intentional shot on goal, but anyone who watched the game saw it for what it was.

.. and don't you dare blame this on my crest e_e

[–]RebBrown 8 points9 points ago

Why? You're trying to force a square peg through a round hole. Maybe you shouldn't try to turn the EU into something it can not be.

note - I'm not anti-EU, but the idea of integration at this level at this moment in time is beyond naivety, it is stupidity.
