No, but when there's a risk of someone being convicted of a crime, it's not worth it to risk them running away. Even if they left a bruise, they successfully got the person into custody instead of having to spend thousands of tax dollars hunting down some 14 year old girl.

I agree that age should be considered when determining how responsible they are for their actions, however, I think 14 is old enough for her to be fully responsible for her attempt at stealing a pair of $150.00 cuff links.

They always say "I'm not resisting, you're hurting me!" as an attempt to get the officer(s) to loosen their grip(s) so that they can try to escape. It's not something that can be taken as lightly as "Oh I'm hurting you? I'm sorry, I'll let go." It's not like a couple of friends wrestling on the grass or something. It's a (large) teenage girl, who had attempted to steal an item totaling the value of $150.00, trying to get away.

Also, twisting and turning in discomfort is one thing, but at one point in the video, she's up on her feet, and trying to actually run away (to the left) while they hold her back.

This is SOOOOOO stupid! First of all, most of the things are just him going to external websites inspired by google THAT DON'T EVEN WORK ANYMORE! When you click "I'm Feeling Lucky" you're just going to the first result, you're not activating some secret Google trick, so most of the things like "lol limewire" are just things around the internet that have nothing to do with google, are not easter eggs, or tricks, or anything. This video is a complete waste of time.

Back in high school, I was head of the A/V department, and thus was at school after hours till pretty late at night working on various things. Because of this, I became good friends with the custodial and security staff. Well according to the custodial staff, the girls bathrooms are worse 100% of the time. They literally drew straws to see who would have to clean the girls bathroom each night because nobody ever wanted to go in there.
