It's definitely the mp3 compression. I have a Xonar Essence STX with Sony MDR 7506, and the shortcomings of compression are glaringly obvious.

Btw, use legato strings. The reverb is good. When you have a Wav you're happy with upload it to audiosparx or a similar website. Sell it.

I'm going retroactive here and say mp3s ruin music. All the dynamics are gone, and the higher register sounds like you're pouring cats into an industrial blender. I have several EastWest products myself, and I know this will sound great uncompressed. Just leave your comp uploading overnight or while you're at work.

Shouldn't be a problem selling this to TV and games. The composition is good, but the samples are sub par. If you can find higher quality samples, or maybe you exported in something else than wav, it would be a much greater listen.

Your "point" is that IQ is a limited measurement of intelligence, and that "anyone can see" that MI has some merit to it. Well, whoop de doo.

IQ is not a test. Gardner's hypothesis may have struck a chord with people, but as you can see from the WP article he has not produced any evidence or research supporting his view.

I can't give you much critique, I'm not that familiar with the genre, but it was very attractive. I like the music box "cadenza". Maybe it needs something recurrent, or over-arcing. Not sure, I'll check out more in this genre.
