This isn't the first time he's tried this, and I doubt it's the last. I'm sick of his attempts to be a one person online-raid. Even right now, he's threatening to come over my home, after me saying no, and he'll be continuing that - getting worse and worse. Until maybe giving up later.

I'm not saying that things like this don't happen, by far. But this really looks like it's written with a motive behind it.

I know it seems impossible now, but it's not.

It's hard, harder for you than most, but hard (as you know) doesn't mean impossible.Sure, you're right - a lot of potential SO's wouldn't be able to handle it, but there's those out there who would and can (with out being a badge bunny*).

*I'm not sure if that's still a thing or not. My dad was a cop for a while, and told me some.. stories of the type.

To be fair, it wasn't just them originally. The difference was they were the ones who denied the issue and never patched the holes up.

iirc it was also dreamhost, my host now (hostgator), network solutions, and a number of big names. It was a breach of shared hostiing/ servers and was patched and admitted by most, save for GoDaddy and likely their parent companies (I cannot verify this atm, so if I'm wrong feel free to correct me, and ya know not sue).

I had this same problem, with a shared server and godaddy. All my php files would be compromised, I'd clean them out, and then it would just happen again.

I wound up originally using something similar to this: ~~ http://www.mikestowe.com/2010/10/php-malicious-code-scanner.php~~ I used this: http://blog.sucuri.net/2011/08/mass-infection-of-wordpress-sites-counter-wordpress-com.html wich may or may not be applicable to you.

Anther thing you can do:

Backup everything.
If you have an older backup, before this - restore that.
Change all your passwords, etc.
Check your website with this: http://sitecheck.sucuri.net/scanner/
If something is found, you can usually find out what the solution is based off the specific malware.

As there wasn't an issue with my account, it wound up being a shared hosting/ shared server issue. As with yours seemingly, GoDaddy denied it was them, over and over again (eventually, I got through to their security team who did tell me a lot more about the issue and it was indeed on their end).

Still wasn't solved, may still be a problem with them for all I know.

They lost me as a customer over that one.

Heh, the blue used to kick my ass royally. Since then, I wound up going the 'short way' up to Chauncey/ Higby areas last summer (basically, straight on up the mountain, one slight incline away from rock climbing... well, close at least).

Worth it, would do it again in a heartbeat, but I SWEAR to god I'm still achy from that one.

Side note, what is with the people all dressed up going along the blue? I've seen: suits, heels, make-up (not minimal, I can kind of get that but we're talking one step away from prom), and a whole host of other things one doesn't normally see on trails.
