Illegal downloading has devastated American songwriters,

Most of the people in that crowd have probably never made a dime off their music. They'd probably would love to know that people are pirating their music... at least that'd mean someone is listening.

There's a road on my longboard commute to work where they recently ripped up half of a lane for about a mile to install a pipe or wiring or some shit. It sucked for a while, but when they filled in the hole they did it with nice smoooooth pavement. I fuckin' love it now, it's almost like they installed an express lane just for longboarding!

Drugs work differently on different people. I get some seriously intense visuals on acid while friends of mine just get trails, and on occasions while stoned I'll fall into a half-awake weed dream and who knows what the fuck'll happen.

I think what's really impressive is how seldom I hear the southern accent in Nashville. Then again, I probably live in a bubble of songwriters. My dad is a songwriter from out of state, who got me a job working for his friend who is a songwriter from out of state, who primarily hires songwriters from out of state, and everyone I have made friends with through these associations are songwriters from out of state. I'm sure there are a few native Nashville people around here somewhere, but I sure never meet them!
