No matter what CCI does people will find a reason to complain. They're trying to solve a problem both with people scalping tickets and people buying a 4-day pass they're not going to use for 4 days. If people can't sell it off or give it away after a single day there maybe they'll just buy single day passes and leave the 4-days to people who will actually be there all 4 days.

About a year ago I met a guy on Reddit who worked in the same industry and city as I did. I told him I was a temp and my job was kind of on shaky ground. When I did lose my job he passed my resume on to his boss and got me an interview at his company. It didn't work out in the long run (because our industry sucks, hiring freezes and all that jazz) but his kindness was something I really appreciated. People on Reddit are amazing sometimes.

The trolley station is on the other side of the freeway from the Town and Country, so its actually not easy to walk to. I took the shuttle from the hotel to the station but the shuttle was packed even early in the morning.

The hotel itself was cheap-feeling and I was afraid to leave stuff in the room, even in the safe. I ended up lugging a heavy ass laptop around for all of CC because I didn't want to leave it in the room. For how much it costs its worth it to stay elsewhere. There's a trolley close to the DoubleTree because its attached to Hazard Center. Hope that helps.

If anyone is thinking of booking one of these, just know that they're actually at Hotel Circle about 5 miles up the freeway from the Convention Center, so they're not all that close. Also, I've stayed at the Town and Country and wouldn't really recommend it. The Doubletree Hotel Circle was much nicer.
