I have no clue either on what i am looking for myself. However, I am doing some work for the guy that owns www.78rpm.com . Let me ask him when I see him this week and if there is a special catalog for 78s. Chances are , there is one out there. So far most of the 78s are radio station promos, not for sale demos, one of Kitty Wells and Ernest Tubb on pink Decca labels with date stamps on the label. I am still digging through the crates :)

So for Record Store Day, my Grandmother decided to give me this... Can anyone give me any information on it? *Sorry about the terrible quality of pictures* by flugenhafenin vinyl

the only records you can play on this Edison machine is Edison records. It will destroy any other type of record you put on it,like 78s. From the images you posted it looks like you will need to get a audio reproducer for it. I think on those Edison models, it had a diamond needle, unlike the Victrola which had removable steel needles. Hope this helps you out a bit. Here is another link for you to look at. http://www.edisonia.com/

the only thing about the TT i linked to that there is a Vertical switch in the back so I can play vertical cut records like my stack of 10.5" Pathe records, and it plays 16" records, which i have a few from radio stations. That TT is kinda of a all in one unit that will play everything, thus very pricey.
