The problem you're going to have is that the theme of your site lacks an obvious community/demographic outside Kickstarter itself.

If you can form a community of Kickstarter afficianados, that'd be neat.

3) How are you distributing it? I think it makes sense as a placemat, but chain restaurants won't take it and mom&pops are going to want you to give them something ($$$?) to distribute it.

Good for them. I mean, I don't agree with them, but whatever -- they obviously feel passionate about it and are talking about it in way which really doesn't effect me or anyone else. Which is what tolerance is about.

The rally isn't a bunch of people trying to get legislation passed outlawing or even regulating anything. Not at all. It was a group of people who were trying to get their own community to do something to protect the (in their view, religiously-mandated) values of the community. Stuff like getting people in the community to add filtering software to their browsers, etc.

We mock this, but really, who cares? It's no different than them eschewing bacon or refusing to use cars on Saturday. It doesn't really affect any of us. It's not like they're holding rallies to criminalize abortion or repress gay rights.
