Snakes, my parents own a small ranch in Canada. I got the fear a few years ago when one of the horses was unsettled in her stall. I was sent to check it out, expecting to find a few rats chilling out in the hay. Found a bigish hole leading outside, put a rat trap (not like a mouse trap, its basically a cage) half in the hole and left it over night. Came back the next day and pulled it out quickly with my hands without looking. There were three snakes literally wound up around the side of the cage I pulled out and one of them made jump for my finger. My parents found me weeping beside the cage 5 minutes later.
