I smoke with filters all the time. People say it filters out the THC but I can't tell the different and I do smoke without filters on the odd occasion as well.

Edit: I'm talking about cigarette filters

As an Australian who spent 6 weeks in California I can confirm this. Its a shame I had to go back home. Have yet to find an entwife in Australia.

I did computing theory as an elective. Operating systems, or the equivalent, was the only core subject I didn't complete (ran out of electives). Other than that I covered everything else. I was lucky that my university allowed me to select any subject from the CS side of things.

Thank you to those who pointed out I was never trying argue that IT was equivalent to CS but that sometimes an IT degree can give you the freedom to closely follow the CS curriculum if you chose to.

I'm not saying this applies to everyone but I have a degree in IT and feel I am comparable to most computer scientists. I chose IT over CS because at the time I was undecided in what direction I wanted to go in. The IT degree gave me a lot of freedom in what I wanted to study. By the time I decided CS was were I wanted to be it would have cost me another year of study so I stuck it out and used all my electives to pick up as many CS courses as I could. In the end I came out having covered all but one core CS subject. I can go back and spend a year getting my CS degree but up until now I haven't needed it.

I'm a smoker and every time I go out for a smoke outside of my normal break time I get my normal break time reduced... This means I take shorter smoke breaks and a shorter lunchbreak (depending on how many smoke breaks I go on).

And whats with these 20min smoke breaks? It only takes 5 min to down a cigaret!
