I understood your point, I just don't agree. As someone upthread suggested perhaps it only dampens electricity over a certain amperage.

This would allow humans to function (and lower life forms) but still stop cars, computers etc.

Who knows, maybe living flesh stops whatever is blocking electricity.

Not saying either is the answer but it is two ways that does not make it a "Complete failure of reality".

To assume to know everything about a show by watching a trailer is idiotic.
