Love this series.

I love to play video games like Call of Duty or Civilization 4, even though I know they glamourize imperialism/capitalism. How do I reconcile these two things? Should I only play "Socialist" video games? by JustAnotherBrickin communism

This situation always reminds me of a great short story by Philip K. Dick (I'll have to dig up the name) where Earth is exchanging cultures with Alpha Centauri. The commission on Earth can't figure out how to win their games, in particular their form of "Monopoly". Then they get some children to play the game and figure out that the goal isn't for one person to own the spaces on the board but for the players to evenly distribute the spaces and profits and that's the only way to win.

tl:dr Board games from Alpha Centauri have socialist goals and Philip K. Dick is a thought provoking author.

Both are extremely well done, the armor version is pretty cool too. The Armor version holds up fairly well for one of the "Extreme" 90's costumes, not too dated and corny.

I was at the last game Bronson Arroyo and Andy Petitte pitched against each other! It was a great game, got rain delayed in the middle of the 4th and we got to walk down and sit behind home after play resumed because some people had left. Aaaaahhh memories.......

I think it is just mental lapses in the field, this kid definitely has the ability to be in a major league lineup. He just looks like he needs to gain some confidence in his fielding. As the famous baseball saying goes "the baseball will find you".

I have to say I enjoy this series but it's painfully obvious the Equalists are in the moral right here. Perhaps if they weren't such hardliners and opened up a dialogue with the Council.. but the Council has already shown they are actively oppressing the Equalists by using Taarlok's task force to crack down on their meetings. All and all I hope Korra stops being an establishment stooge and brings actual balance to the world by helping the Equalist cause.

I don't really have any particular problems with Harper but I don't think it's true to call him "level-headed and nondescript" after he got in trouble for blowing kisses to opposing pitchers and then hitting himself in the head with a bat in frustration and needing stitches. That being said I'll describe him as: Great talent.
