IT Manager & Civil Engineering Designer - I find CAD work detailed and interesting, not to mention the unique challenges present in any Engineering field. I get to work on projects primarily by myself with only emails and occasional phone calls so that keeps me in physical contact with only my cubicle neighbors. We're a small company so I pull double duty in IT, which gives some variety to my work. Overall I still get bored, I doubt there is a job that I'd be happy with long term.

1) We don't know, but people are working on it.

2) Two different things: Atheism and Theism goes to what you believe or don't whereas Agnosticism and Gnosticism goes to what you know. Most Atheists are Agnostics because we don't believe but also don't claim to know, and most Christians are Gnostic Theists in that they believe and claim to know.

3) Since their is no good evidence to support Intelligent Design there is no reason to think the universe was created. As such there is no reason to think the Universe has a purpose. Given all that the purpose for any individual is up to them.

It's not about the karma, it's about the quality of content. Think of it like a magic trick: If I can see how it's done, I'm going to call bullshit, and be pissed off that I wasted my time with something that I thought would entertain me. However if it's a good magic trick (content) then I'm happy.

Except that if you care about the truth, it isn't cool. If he really found the Pop Tarts, then its funny. If not he's whoring for karma which, in my opinion, degrades the quality of original content on Reddit. It's not about his karma, it's about what I want from Reddit. I want Reddit to bring me fresh, quality, TRUE content. Not just jokes designed for popular consumption. Fake content isn't funny, it's annoying.
