Hey All (this is the email I mailed out to all those who contacted me so far),

T-Minus 45 days until Phish at SPAC. I wanted to get the ball rolling on the bus sign up. To start, so everyone know's this is legit, I have attached a copy of the contract. We have changed things in that the bus will now leave all three days at 4:45PM ish. This will give people time to eat, celebrate 4:20, go to the bathroom and get on the bus. We are riding school buses- big and yellow. Keep that in mind when packing for the bus. You can leave stuff on the bus. Don't leave anything of value on the bus, as they don't really lock. Drink/smoke before you get on the bus and after.

I will be accepting money via Paypal. Please note that each way is $10. Round trip is $20 per day and if going to all three shows with us, the pricing is $60. These are PRE-SALE prices to help motivate you to send the money in sooner. AFTER JUNE 10 the price goes up to $12.50 per ride or $25 per day. In using Paypal I am paying them 2.9% + .30 for each transaction, just so you know I'm being upfront with everything. PLEASE ALSO NOTE: Your spot is NOT reserved until full payment is received. Once the 88 spots are full, the bus is closed.

The little bit of work that I need you all to do is prove to me that you want this to happen. Anyone staying at Pop's Lake can get on this. Many of you have contacted me telling me that you have a party of 30 people, 15 people, 10 people, etc. I need payment for all these people if they are going to get on the bus. With all your information and payment, choose the show opener each night. If you get the opener correct your trip going to SPAC that day is free. That means I will hand you back a $10 bill when you come back to the bus. You have three opportunities to guess it (assuming you're riding with us all three days). Only one person can win the opener pick. If two people choose The Curtain (With), whoever pays via Paypal first gets the rights to that particular song for the particular night they called it. I know this will be a ton of fun. I've read that people who have done the bus thing in the past have listed it as a highlight of the weekend. Pop's Lake will probably have a large bonfire after the show on Saturday night. We are scheduled to leave SPAC at 12:30 each night. If bus #1 fills up and is ready to go early, I don't foresee it being a problem that it leaves early. If the majority of you chime in that you would like to leave earlier from SPAC after each show, then I can tweak the time. Again, the $20 each day includes a 20% tip to the bus driver as well.

I just ask that you be courteous, even if your f'ked up. The bus driver does have the right to kick you off if your being a dick. No refund for being a dick and you will have to figure out your own way home. Also note that if you don't make the bus after ample time, a phone call to your cell, etc, you will also be responsible to get back to the campgrounds on your own with no refund. I've also included as an attachment a great checklist for camping that I've found helpful in the past.

Please note I do not work for Pop's Lake. I did stay there last time Phish played SPAC and saw the chaos that occurred with all the taxis and I knew I didn't want to stay sober for the shows, so this bus idea came to be. I'm not responsible for the bus breaking down, acts of God or the Flying Spaghetti Monster or whoever else you believe in (if at all). I just want a fun, cheap and safe way to get to and from.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions. In looking at the numbers, we have enough for 2 buses. Now I need to see that everyone is really interested in paying for this. If people are slow to move, and only one bus is full, I may just cancel the second one so I don't get screwed. There is the slight possibility that the second bus for example on Sunday doesn't sell out in advance. If this is the case, anyone can pay and jump on from Pop's Lake. It should be fun.
