Do you mean 'bad' in a good way or a bad way?

It looked like AJL was asking for evidence about the core issue (CEOs are more socio/psycho-pathic than "normal" people), so I provided what I thought was a useful link. If you want to argue a DIFFERENT issue, feel free to take it up with someone who has an interest.

Talk to the guy who set up the original goalposts, that wasn't me.

Anal_Justice_League is the one hung up on absolutes. I'm just pointing out that there's a real correlation.

Don't talk to me about "all"... I never made that claim. The fact of the matter is that sociopathy/psychopathy IS an advantage in the business world. To pretend otherwise is disingenuous.

Not the point... I'm replying to someone who said that paper books have no more utility. I'm NOT arguing that electronic books have no utility.

Lots of things COULD happen, but moisture destroys a Kindle too... and lava destroys both. The fact of the matter is that it is far more likely that the physical paper books of today will survive and be useful 100 years from now than a copy of those same books on Kindles.

100 years from now, my copy of The Lorax on dead trees will still be usable. I wouldn't take that bet about a Kindle copy.

Cocktails inspired by The Avengers by jknerdin cocktails

[–]JustZisGuy 0 points1 point ago

This post made me feel like some sort of elitist snob, because my first reaction was "those aren't even all really cocktails!"... but then again, I'm still irritated when I hear people talk about this delicious "martini" they just had and it has no gin or vermouth in it.

I know that cocktail essentially just means "mixed drink" at this point and that martini has become more-or-less synonymous with "any mixed drink in a cocktail glass"... but that doesn't mean I have to like it. ;)

What a marvelous way to collect information on Redditor's birthdates to help with correlating to real-world identities...

What trivial act would you like to ban or make illegal? Personally, I would like to outlaw public speakers who start off by saying, "I can't hear you!" or "Let's try that again!" by danger_mcboomin AskReddit

Anyone who has been waiting in line for over a minute who, when they finally get to the front and is asked what they want, goes "Ummm... lemme see...." should be IMMEDIATELY shot into the sun.

... hollow and unrealistic? It's better to ONLY be nice to people because you're concerned that they may have power over you one day? That sounds sociopathic.

Or you could be nice to everyone, even expecting to never see them again, because... you know... don't be a dick.
