If you find a good writing subreddit I'd love to hear about it.

Watch this video all the way to the end. I don't want to ruin it but you really DO want to watch it even if you think it's not for you. Promise. by JessicaGottliebin TwoXChromosomes

Also... if you're at work it's just as good with the sound off... not JUST as good but pretty darned good.

How should I tell my husband that I'm divorcing him and I want him to move out? by 28208482in AskReddit

Also this whole thing about never having sex.

You could have an annulment. You wouldn't get alimony though. Which it seems like you're wanting/needing.

Quickly.

It's unkind to stay in the marriage you're describing. You don't get a redo on these years.

jergens for fair skin is the best.

And if you don't worry about skin cancer and death (which you should but I know you don't...) then worry about wrinkles and saggy bits.

The sun will make you old.

Good for you on reaching out in a safe place. Hoping that your coming out process is as smooth as possible.

My neighbor has transformed and she is just lovely. She was in her 50's and probably struggled for many decades more than was necessary.

Makeup tips? Wear the bare minimum.

some people say that being in a relationship with the man you love should feel easy. Others say that relationships take work. so which is it? by blueslutin TwoXChromosomes

We had "shared" stuff for a few months before we were married but there was a new team we had to form, financially and stuff.

It was just about learning how to share and how to combine our goals. That was really tricky. I had been living mostly alone for 8 years and he'd been living like a frat boy with roommates... you might have an easier time since you've been together so long.

Oh also. I was pregnant by our first anniversary so I might have been slightly insane.

Sherman Oaks or Hollywood/WeHo border? by capnmalin LosAngeles

[–]JessicaGottlieb 0 points1 point ago

probably not particularly dangerous.

You'll have more transients because of Hollywood Blvd but you'll also have more bars, clubs, parties and younger people. I wouldn't want to live there with kids, which is why you probably would want to live there.

You car might be burglarized either place, just don't lock the doors and they won't break the glass. :)

SO if you want calm.

Tea Drinking Parents! Question about giving kids/babes tea.... by QueenOpheliain raisingkids

I would actually call caffeine a "none at all" for all kids, adults if I had a magic wand.

It's aging, dehydrating and addictive. Why start?

Both.

If it's hard in the beginning skip it. But it should start easy and you'll hit some bumps in the road.

Everyone I know says their first year of marriage was incredibly difficult (mine was). I'm married 15 years. It's sort of awesome if you can work through the crap.

Three men (independently of each other), have called me a "7, 8 if I dress up". Am I being way too sensitive about this? This hurts my feelings at a level that's almost alarming. by Flusteredpenguinin TwoXChromosomes

[–]JessicaGottlieb 11 points12 points ago

Yes I'd be hurt but I'd probably tell you that you shouldn't be because it doesn't define you and you are someone's 10.

My dad used to tell me all the time that it was a good thing to be average looking so I could develop my brain. Ummm yeah.

My husband said he didn't think rape was a big deal - I really need advice. by WhatToDoAboutHubbubin TwoXChromosomes

Sometimes people's words aren't in line with their actions.

Is he a good man? Is he good to you and to his mother?

Is there a chance that he's saying the words he's heard the men in his life speak?

Do you think he'd be a good father to a boy? To a girl?

These are the things that matter. We all communicate differently and if he's a good person who jut doesn't communicate well I wouldn't run from that.

Also for some people they're simply unable to understand things that they haven't experienced. I'm not convinced that this is a flaw. It's just a thing.
