Then be more specific. Brees played pooly enough for the chargers to draft Rivers in the first placewhile Brees led them to the worst record in the NFL. Don't get me wrong, he is great now but he wasn't always.

As to your second point, I'd say Hasslebeck, Schaub, and Favre (who was originally a Falcon) all played pretty well with team #2.

This is really no different than just declaring martial law if we were ever invaded (which would be a foregone conclusion), which suspends all rights and permits the President and the Armed Forces to do what is necessary for the survival of the country.

That being said, I'm not sure why this needs to put in writing, as a matter of law, prior to any actual invasion.

The reason we can't give legal advice over the internet is because of malpractice concerns, as many of you have identified. The attorney-client relationship does not exist solely when a contract is in place, it exists if a complete idiot would believe the guy typing on the computer is their attorney. Seriously, that's pretty much the standard.

In addition to malpractice concerns, clients (and people in general) tend to only deliver their side of the story. When a client first comes in for a meeting, I have a lot of questions that a client may not think are relevant, but can be outcome determinitive. It's not really possible to get the full details over the internet. Hope that helps.
