The final scene where you see what all the other zombies will become in time is fucking scary as hell, I had a nightmare about that thing chasing me for hours, and when I woke up I knew I had to buy that movie.

Wasn't it a made for T.V film? If so thats why I was disappointed because I never had high expectations for it in the first place.

Hellraiser 1-3 were good, Suspiria, John Carpenter's Halloweens part 1 and 2 were excellent. Hostel parts 1 and 2 were good, I have yet to see part 3 so there isn't anything I could say there. Also check out Hatchet part 1 and 2 those were pretty cool films.

Personally I also have an issue with sexual violence if it gets too close to real life. However Re-animator does a superb job of labeling itself as nothing more than a story. The scene itself doesn't last very long nor does it seem at all realistic considering its head that has been severed from its torso. I would give it a watch, and if it gets to be too much then turn it off and watch something else.

I saw it and it was pretty well done, the ending just seemed too simple for me, and the trailer had set me up for more than what was shown, but like you say it isn't bad. It just wasn't what I expected.
