Me and some friends were stopped by Ukrainian police once. They didn't speak English at all. They wanted to take the driver with them to "the station". I said I wanted to go with him (I wasn't going to allow them to take this spanish guy, who barely spoke english, to go to some foreign police station) but they weren't letting me. Then after a strange conversation they asked how many Euros I had with me. We didn't have any (we were coming from Romania) but I had 40 RON in my wallet and wrote on the dust on the police car's hood that it was equal to about 15 euro (40 RON = €15). They talked a bit amongst themselves then let us go, happy with their bribe.

On that same trip we lost another friend in Riga (Latvia) after a night of drinking at a club. Since he didn't know the name or the location of the place we were staying at, we went looking for him. After hours of searching and going to the police (at 8 AM) to give a description of a guy with buck teeth and 160 cms (we called him ratinho), we went to sleep. At 11 am he shows up at the place we were staying at, completely drunk and with a lipstick mark on his forehead, telling us we should go to Tallin (Estonia).

TLDR: I'm drunk.
