It's not about lighting up the spawner itself. You gotta light up every block in a certain radius around it. Try making sure that everywhere within 10 blocks from the spawner in every direction is nice and bright.

You may not find much love for pixel art here. Most people look at it as completely uncreative. Minecraft is all about creativity. If you want to show off some pixel art, you might get a good response if it's original work. Take your Bacon 7-Up thingy (Pokemon, I assume?) and try redrawing him in different poses or something. Just be original. If you want a real challenge, make it of voxels instead of pixels, ie, make him totally 3D.

There's lots you can do to be creative and do something cool, but simply copying an image is neither of those things.

I know a lot of French Canadians who make the same kind of mistake. In French, an initial H is silent but when they speak English, they pronounce an initial H when it isn't there or don't pronounce it when it is there. They try to say "hall" and it comes out as "'all." They say "all" and it comes out as "hall."

I don't see much of a use for it. By the time you get gold, you should have plenty of iron for a sword already. Unless this dagger is better than an iron sword (which doesn't sound right), there's no reason to ever make this.

If the only reason is, "Because it's so cool!" then it will quickly get boring and pushed aside in favour of better alternatives.
