The games calculated into the ratings are only from one week of time I believe. Also I think the system rewards good stats more if you have lost the match.

It's more difficult to get a penta kill in LoL since LoL allows less time between the kills for multi kills, and I think its easier to get a huge advantage in Dota if you get fed/farmed.
